Finance Manager – Hybrid/Flexible Working

About the role

The Finance Manager will report to the Director of Finance and lead the improvement of financial processes, reporting, and governance across the organisation. This full‑time, hybrid role offers the chance to work closely with senior leaders to drive performance and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and enhance financial procedures, embedding best practice across the finance team.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Develop and maintain finance policies aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Lead the selection, procurement and implementation of financial systems to improve efficiency and reporting.
• Produce accurate, timely monthly management accounts.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, SORPs and other regulations.
• Develop financial and operational KPIs for senior management and the Board.
• Partner with the Director of Finance on performance monitoring, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
• Oversee regular financial and performance reporting for the Board and senior committees.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance management, financial systems or governance roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, controls and governance frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
