Finance Manager

About the role

Finance Manager responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, compliance and planning for a fast‑growing software technology SME in central London. The hybrid position works closely with senior leaders to provide financial insight and support strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts and financial projections to aid business planning.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, delivering accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across the organisation.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, advising stakeholders on corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, regulatory and audit requirements.
• Maintain effective financial controls, processes and governance frameworks.
• Provide financial modelling, business case analysis and decision‑support information.
• Partner with senior leaders on strategic initiatives and performance improvement.
• Oversee US finance operations including sales ledger, purchase ledger, invoicing, payments, expenses and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, banking activities, liquidity and debt collection.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience with US GAAP.
• Exposure to NetSuite or equivalent ERP system.
• Professional accounting qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven experience in finance management, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, compliance and audit requirements.
