About the role
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our Chester office as part of a large international business. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead a small team and drive process improvements to increase efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a team of 4 across Accounts Payable and Credit Control.
- Design and implement KPIs for collections and payments.
- Oversee production of monthly management accounts.
- Act as escalation point for vendor queries.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Continuously develop and improve finance processes.
- Support the Financial Controller during quarterly reporting deadlines.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to ensure efficient internal data distribution.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing finance staff.
- Hands‑on approach with ability to add value.
- Desire to gain exposure in a large business environment.
