Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will join a long‑established family‑owned retail group with a strong high‑street and online presence. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a small, professional finance team and support the business as it continues to expand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
• Manage stock and fleet financials, overseeing cost control and asset optimisation.
• Develop and execute financial strategy, including management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Optimise systems and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide financial insight to support operational decisions across the group.

Required profile

• CIMA or ACCA qualification, or close to completion.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience of leading and developing a finance team.
• Proven operational finance experience, particularly in stock and fleet management.
• Ability to drive financial strategy, reporting, budgeting and process optimisation.
