Finance Manager

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing business in Maidenhead, is seeking a commercially‑minded Finance Manager to join a high‑performing finance team. You will partner with operational stakeholders, provide commercial insight, and influence key business decisions in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operational teams to deliver commercial financial support and influence decisions.
• Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow projections and financial appraisals.
• Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions.
• Produce accurate management information for monthly reporting and business planning.
• Maintain robust financial controls and ensure data integrity.
• Support tax, audit and broader compliance requirements.
• Analyse project costs, profitability and overall business performance.
• Present financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting and systems.
• Mentor junior finance team members and contribute to wider finance initiatives.

Required profile

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Previous experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis capabilities.
• Proven business partnering and stakeholder management experience.
• Proactive, commercially focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience in property, construction or other project‑based environments is advantageous but not essential.
