Finance Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a leading construction and specialist fit‑out company based in Southall. The Finance Manager will report to the Fractional CFO and take ownership of day‑to‑day finance operations, helping to improve controls and support business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily banking activities, bank reconciliations and cash‑position reporting.
• Oversee invoice finance/factoring arrangements and monitor funding availability.
• Maintain the debtor ledger, chase outstanding invoices and handle escalations.
• Keep financial records in Xero, ensure all accounts are reconciled and support month‑end reporting.
• Coordinate with the outsourced payroll provider, submit payroll data accurately and resolve queries.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Assistant Finance Manager or in a similar finance role.
• Strong background in bank reconciliations, cash management and credit control.
• Experience working with invoice finance or factoring arrangements.
• Ability to work closely with senior management and support decision‑making.
