Finance Manager

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing retail company based in London, is seeking an immediate, temporary Finance Manager for a three‑month assignment. The role will be based in Buckhurst Hill and will focus on inter‑company reconciliations, transfer‑pricing support, and day‑to‑day finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inter‑company reconciliations and resolve discrepancies across group entities.
• Support and review transfer‑pricing processes and related documentation.
• Oversee banking and payment facilities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with month‑end close, delivering accurate financial reporting.
• Analyse complex spreadsheets and financial data to identify trends and improvement areas.
• Support year‑end audit preparation and work closely with auditors.
• Help integrate banking platforms with Shopify and other finance systems.
• Implement Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements across the UK business.
• Identify and drive finance process improvements to enhance efficiency and control.

Required profile

• Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in retail, e‑commerce or a similar industry.
• Proven experience with multi‑entity and multi‑currency accounting.
• Hands‑on experience supporting audits and year‑end close.
• Available to start immediately or within one week’s notice.
