Finance Manager – Part‑Qualified (Manufacturing)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑qualified accountant to join a growing manufacturing business as a Finance Manager. This role goes beyond traditional management accounting, acting as a key partner to production and operations teams to drive performance and commercial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Partner with production and operations to improve financial performance.
• Analyse manufacturing costs, margins and stock movements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end processes.
• Drive continuous improvements to financial reporting and internal controls.
• Provide senior leadership with commercial analysis for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified (ACCA or CIMA) accountant.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or product‑based environment.
• Strong management accounting background.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Confident communication with stakeholders across the business.
• Proactive mindset with a desire to challenge processes and add value.
