Finance Manager – Path to Director

About the role
We are seeking a Finance Manager who is eager to develop into a Director role within a well‑established industrial construction business. The position offers a varied, technical workload, early Friday finish and a clear progression pathway.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, balance sheets and variance analysis.
- Manage budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting and financial planning.
- Support the Finance Administrator with accounts receivable, credit control and month‑end processes.
- Monitor staff training records and certifications to ensure compliance.
Required profile
- Current Finance Manager or similar experience.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting.
- Ability to commute to Urmston.
Required skills
- Sage accounting software.
What we offer
- Salary £45,000‑£53,000 per year.
- Progression to Director role.
- In‑house training and development.
- Office‑based role with early Friday finish (Mon‑Thu 8:30‑16:30, Fri 8:30‑15:30).
