Finance Manager – Remote (Media Sector)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing media business that needs an experienced Finance Manager to join immediately. This fully remote position will own key month‑end activities and support the wider finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end processes and respond to related queries.
• Lead large‑volume balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy of accruals, pre‑payments and fixed‑asset registers.
• Support financial controls and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with business teams to resolve finance queries.
• Prepare and report financial information using Xero.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant.
• Strong competence in balance‑sheet reconciliations and month‑end accounting.
• Experience managing fixed‑asset registers.
• Background in an SME environment with a hands‑on approach.
• Ability to start quickly and hit the ground running.

Required skills

• Xero – cloud‑based accounting software.
