Finance Manager (Temp to Permanent) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join a fast‑growing organisation in the care and charity sector. The role is initially temporary with a view to permanent employment and is fully remote, offering you the chance to influence financial strategy at senior level.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day finance function, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and compliance.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, cash‑flow forecasts and variance analyses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning activities.
• Provide commercial insight and guidance to the senior leadership team.
• Develop financial projections to aid strategic decision‑making.
• Liaise with external accountants and key stakeholders.
• Maintain robust financial controls and continuously improve processes.
• Manage and mentor two administration team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to produce budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow projections.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive, solution‑focused attitude with confidence working directly with senior leaders.
• Experience in the care, charity or not‑for‑profit sector is a plus but not essential.
