Finance Operations Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a large, complex organisation to recruit an experienced Finance Operations Manager to lead a high‑volume transactional finance team. The role focuses on driving operational excellence across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and payment processes while modernising finance operations and supporting system enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage high‑volume AP and AR teams, overseeing invoice workflow, debt management, cash collection and ledger accuracy.
• Drive improvements in working capital, reporting cycles, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strengthen financial controls, risk management and compliance across transactional finance.
• Develop reporting, dashboards and commentary for senior leadership.
• Support system upgrades and process‑improvement projects.
• Build strong relationships across finance, operations and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (essential).
• Extensive experience managing large transactional finance teams.
• Strong understanding of AP/AR processes, controls and compliance.
• Proven ability to operate in a large, complex organisation.
• Skilled in analysing high‑volume financial data and producing clear reporting.
• Confident leader able to motivate teams and drive change.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
