Finance & Processing Agent – Loan Administration (Contract)

About the role

A well‑established firm is seeking a reliable finance professional to join a busy team handling daily loan account administration and core financial record‑keeping. The contract lasts six months with the possibility of becoming permanent, working 37.5 hours per week on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily customer loan paperwork and ensure payments are correctly posted.
• Carry out routine general‑ledger and financial reconciliations to maintain accurate records.
• Handle account adjustments and update repayment schedules when customers need support.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate details and resolve finance queries efficiently.
• Prepare clear reconciliation reports for internal client and finance teams.
• Follow standard operating procedures while seeking improvements to daily processes.

Required profile

• Strong numerical ability with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, finance systems and core IT software, especially Excel.
• Methodical, accurate and reliable in following strict processes.
• Background in bookkeeping, general ledger, banking or lending is a strong plus.
• Experience in a call‑centre environment is advantageous.
