Finance Project Manager – Internal Modelling (Insurance)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Finance Project Manager to lead an internal modelling programme for a leading insurance and pensions client. The role will span 3‑4 years and aims to deliver multi‑million capital benefits while working closely with a specialist SI partner and internal finance, actuarial and risk experts.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of the internal modelling transformation programme.
• Coordinate workstreams covering liquidity, solvency, IFRS, finance risk and related regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, including directors and external consultants.
• Ensure programme milestones, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Provide regular progress reporting to the client and the SI partner.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance transformation within insurance or life & pensions.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale programmes involving internal modelling, solvency and liquidity.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging at director level.
• Qualified accountant or equivalent finance qualification.
