Finance Reporting Manager

About the role

This is a high‑impact Finance Reporting Manager position within a fast‑growing live events company undergoing major transformation. The role is ideal for a qualified accountant who enjoys building processes, driving change and taking ownership of financial reporting and ERP implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts for multiple UK entities, delivering accurate and insightful reports to senior stakeholders.
• Produce variance analysis and commentary to support business performance.
• Design, implement and enhance finance processes and internal controls, standardising reporting across the business.
• Drive efficiencies in month‑end close and the wider reporting cycle.
• Play a key role in the implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, acting as liaison between Finance and Systems teams.
• Serve as primary contact for year‑end audit, ensuring audit‑ready documentation and statutory compliance.
• Partner with commercial, operational and finance teams to provide financial insight for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong experience in financial reporting, month‑end close and management accounts.
• Excellent analytical ability and clear communication of financial information.
• Proven track record of supporting business change, transformation or systems implementation.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
