Finance Systems Lead

About the role

Môrwell Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading European data‑centre developer to hire a Finance Systems Lead. Based in South Wales with a hybrid working model, you will own the finance technology ecosystem, driving automation, AI‑enabled improvements and ERP optimisation across a fast‑growing international business.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the subject‑matter expert for all finance systems, ensuring scalability, security and data integrity.
• Lead enhancements, integrations and optimisation of ERP and related finance platforms.
• Champion governance, controls and best‑practice processes across the finance function.
• Identify and deliver AI, automation and emerging‑technology initiatives to reduce manual effort.
• Partner with Finance Director, CFO and senior leaders to shape the roadmap for finance technology.
• Deliver smarter reporting, forecasting and decision‑support capabilities.
• Manage multiple transformation programmes simultaneously, aligning technology with business objectives.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or finance professional with strong accounting knowledge.
• Proven experience in finance systems, ERP platforms and large‑scale transformation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technology‑driven process improvements.
• Strategic mindset with excellent stakeholder‑management skills.
