Finance Systems Manager

About the role

We are supporting a well‑established independent accounting firm in London that seeks a Finance Systems Manager. In this senior position you will lead the firm’s finance software strategy, drive system improvements and support colleagues across all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and resolve finance software queries for colleagues.
• Deliver ongoing training and development on finance applications.
• Define and execute the firm’s long‑term software strategy, identifying process‑improvement opportunities.
• Design and manage process‑improvement projects, including the rollout of new practice applications.
• Support change initiatives, ensuring smooth integration and optimisation of new systems.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an accountancy environment using a variety of accounting software packages.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, partners and suppliers.
• Proven track record of leading software implementation, transformation and change‑management projects.
