Finance Systems Manager – Power BI & IFS Reporting

About the role

This is a short‑term contract (2–3 weeks) for a Finance Systems Manager to deliver a Power BI profit & loss reporting solution using data from an IFS ERP system. The role is based on‑site in Swindon and is ideal for a candidate who enjoys combining finance knowledge with data and business intelligence expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable Power BI model for profit & loss reporting.
• Extract, clean and transform financial data from the IFS ERP system.
• Create insightful visual reports covering variance analysis, year‑to‑date performance and other key metrics.
• Collaborate closely with finance teams to validate data accuracy and meet reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Power BI data modelling.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS.
• Strong background in financial reporting, especially profit & loss statements.
• Ability to work directly with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Available immediately and comfortable with fast‑paced delivery projects.
