Finance Systems Transformation Manager

About the role

Altum Consulting is seeking a Finance Systems Transformation Manager to lead the migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and design the future‑state finance operating model. This senior position will bridge finance, IT and external partners to deliver a streamlined, automated finance landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Act as the primary finance representative throughout the ERP transition.
• Design and embed scalable finance processes, controls and procedures.
• Define the future‑state finance systems landscape and operating model.
• Identify automation, reporting and efficiency opportunities.
• Ensure data integrity, governance and reporting capability across finance systems.
• Manage system updates, enhancements, integrations and improvement requests.
• Support change management, training and adoption for finance users.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance systems management and ERP implementation.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of core finance processes (record‑to‑report, procure‑to‑pay, order‑to‑cash).
• Experience designing and improving finance processes, controls and procedures.
• Excellent stakeholder management across Finance, IT and wider business functions.
• Analytical problem‑solving ability and continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Finance qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus.
