Finance Transformation Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to lead finance transformation initiatives across the Group. Working closely with Finance, IT and operational stakeholders, you will manage a portfolio of strategic projects to improve finance systems, processes and ways of working. The role reports to the finance leadership team and is based in Birmingham with a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver finance transformation projects aligned to the Group's strategic objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, managing scope, timelines, resources and deliverables.
• Build strong relationships with Finance, IT, Operations and senior leadership teams to drive successful outcomes.
• Manage project budgets, third‑party consultants and external partners to ensure cost‑effective delivery.
• Track and support the realisation of financial and operational benefits, ensuring sustainable adoption of change.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a change or project manager delivering transformation initiatives in complex organisations.
• Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and functions, bringing structure and strong communication.
• Demonstrated track record of managing project budgets, governance, risks and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills with influence at all levels.

Required skills

• APM or Prince2 (or equivalent) project management qualification.
• Knowledge of finance processes such as Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) and Record‑to‑Report (R2R).
• Experience with finance systems and IT implementation projects.
