Financial Accountant – Global Consumer (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a technically strong Financial Accountant to join a globally recognised, market‑leading business in West London. The role is permanent, hybrid (2 days in office) and offers exposure to a complex, high‑volume finance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end close and financial reporting activities
• Prepare and review statutory accounts
• Manage and reconcile complex balance‑sheet areas
• Assist with audit requirements and respond to stakeholder queries
• Handle accounting requirements under IFRS 16
• Partner with wider finance teams to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience in a large, complex organisation
• Strong technical accounting capability, especially month‑end and statutory reporting
• Comfortable working with large data sets and advanced Excel
• Exposure to audit (practice or industry); US GAAP knowledge is a plus
• Ability to build relationships quickly across teams
