Financial Accountant (Hybrid) – Glasgow

About the role

Our global client, based in Glasgow, is seeking a newly qualified Financial Accountant to join a large‑scale transformation project. The role operates on a hybrid model with flexible working hours, offering the chance to develop technical accounting expertise in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize multiple complex accounting situations with a high degree of accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes.
• Apply extensive technical accounting knowledge to deliver accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct analytical, investigative, and problem‑solving activities.
• Communicate findings and present to diverse stakeholders.
• Utilise understanding of US GAAP (preferred) where applicable.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAS, CIMA, or ACCA), ideally a first‑time mover from a top‑10 practice.
• Motivated individual eager to develop and learn.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
