About the role
Are you a qualified or near‑qualified accountant looking to take the next step? Our client, a fast‑growing business, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their UK finance team, offering real responsibility, variety and progression. You’ll play a key part in the day‑to‑day financial operations of the group, managing ledgers, reconciliations and supporting month‑end reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Managing the nominal and sales ledgers.
- Bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, and WIP reporting.
- Supporting month‑end accounts and financial reporting.
- Assisting with statutory accounts, tax, and audits.
- Managing intercompany reconciliations.
Required profile
- ACA / ACCA part qualified or newly qualified.
- Proactive, organised and confident in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communicator who works well across teams.
Required skills
- Strong Excel experience.
- General ledger experience.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting.
