Financial Accountant (London)

About the role

Hire Intelligence is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its Acton office in London. Reporting to the General Manager (UK & Ireland), this leadership position will manage a small team and take ownership of the company’s financial reporting, budgeting and statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial accounts, forecasts and management reports.
• Process salary payments.
• Prepare year‑end accounts and perform reconciliations.
• Produce annual budgets and key performance indicators.
• Submit tax and other statutory returns.
• Manage, motivate and communicate effectively with the finance team, department heads and the General Manager.

Required profile

• Chartered accountancy qualification with at least seven years of full‑time post‑qualification experience.
• Previous experience in a financial accountancy role.
• Strong computer literacy, numeracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound interpersonal, motivational and presentation abilities.
• Proven track record of teamwork and achievement.
• Budget management experience.
• High ethical standards.
• No more than three employers in the preceding six years.
