Financial Accountant – Projects & Financial Review (Interim)

About the role

This interim position offers a financially‑savvy professional the chance to join a leading global business undergoing a period of change. Based in West London, you will work within a collaborative UK accounting team, supporting key projects and financial review activities across the UK, EMEA and the US.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end and financial reporting processes.
• Review financial data, reconciliations and accounting entries.
• Assist finance projects and operational initiatives.
• Partner cross‑functionally to assess accounting impact of business decisions.
• Support audits and year‑end deliverables.
• Prepare variance analysis and supporting schedules.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience in large, fast‑paced organisations.
• Exposure to US GAAP is desirable.
• Strong Excel and financial analysis abilities.
• Audit background welcomed but not essential.
• Adaptable, proactive and solutions‑focused.

What we offer

• Day rate of £250‑£350 PAYE.
• Contract until October with a review for possible extension.
• Hybrid working – two days per week on site in West London.
