About the role

This role as a Financial Accountant in a small property‑focused organisation involves managing financial reporting, compliance and supporting key business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end reporting processes.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for the property portfolio.
• Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
• Ensure tax compliance and liaise with external auditors.
• Assist in preparing management reports and financial presentations.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects within the accounting and finance department.

Required profile

• Professional accountancy qualification or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Experience using financial modelling tools.
