Financial Accounting Manager – EMEA (6‑month FTC)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing global technology business as the Financial Accounting Manager for EMEA on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will own the regional accounting function, leading month‑end close, financial reporting and technical accounting while working in a hybrid model (two days in the Egham office).

Key responsibilities

• Lead the EMEA month‑end close covering revenue, cash, payroll, fixed assets, leases and operating expenses.
• Review complex reconciliations and journal entries to ensure accuracy and strong audit trails.
• Manage, mentor and develop a team of accountants, providing technical guidance and oversight.
• Ensure accounting policies and reporting comply with Local GAAP and US GAAP.
• Partner with Finance, FP&A, Treasury, HR and other functions on reporting and business projects.
• Drive process improvements, systems projects and best‑practice initiatives across the accounting function.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience, solid understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Hands‑on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) in a global, complex business.
• Commercially minded leader with strong analytical skills and an ownership mentality.
