Financial Administrator / Paraplanner – Route to Financial Adviser

About the role

This position offers a structured pathway from a Financial Administrator or Paraplanner into a full Financial Adviser role within a thriving wealth management practice in London. You will work alongside experienced advisers, gaining exposure to the complete financial planning process while receiving full study support and a clear progression route.

Key responsibilities

• Support Financial Advisers and Paraplanners with day‑to‑day administration.
• Prepare client meeting documentation and review packs.
• Process new business for pensions, investments and protection products.
• Liaise with providers to ensure smooth case progression.
• Maintain accurate client records across back‑office systems.
• Assist in suitability report preparation and technical analysis.
• Contribute to cash‑flow modelling and financial planning research.
• Participate in client meetings and adviser‑led discussions as experience grows.
• Manage workflow to support efficient case progression.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• 1–2 years’ experience in wealth management or financial planning.
• Level 4 qualification or actively working towards the Diploma.
• Ambitious, technically interested and motivated to become a Financial Adviser.
