Financial Adviser – Inherit £50m Client Book (Hybrid)

About the role

Ortus PSR, a high‑growth wealth management firm backed by private equity, is looking for a client‑centric Financial Adviser to join its Arundel team. The role offers the chance to inherit a well‑maintained £50 million client book and work within a modern, compliant, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take over an established portfolio of high‑value clients (circa £50 m AUM).
• Conduct comprehensive financial reviews covering pensions, investments, tax, protection and estate planning.
• Maintain high client retention through proactive servicing and relationship management.
• Leverage regional paraplanners and administrators for report writing and compliance.
• Identify and act on opportunities to grow AUM via referrals, professional introducers and business‑development support.
• Collaborate with peers across the business to share best practice and enhance client outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Adviser/Planner.
• Level 4 Diploma qualification (Chartered status preferred or in progress).
• Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning strategies and retirement income solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
