Financial Adviser

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Adviser to join an established St. James's Place practice in London. This hybrid position requires three days a week in the office and offers the opportunity to manage an existing high‑net‑worth client book while building your own portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals, families and institutions.
• Provide tailored advice on investments, asset allocation, retirement, tax and wealth protection.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals and proactive outreach.
• Conduct comprehensive financial planning, including pensions, insurance and estate planning.
• Review and adjust client portfolios regularly to reflect changing goals and market conditions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with marketing, business development, administration and paraplanning teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of SJP experience in a similar practice.
• Hold a QCF Level 4 Diploma (minimum); Level 6/Chartered status is advantageous.
• Relevant degree and a proven track record of building and maintaining a strong client base.
• Experience delivering holistic advice to high‑net‑worth and complex clients.
• Strong desire to grow, succeed and make an impact.
