About the role

Ortus PSR is seeking a qualified Financial Planner to take over an established client bank in Greater Glasgow. You will work with a portfolio of entrepreneurial business owners, delivering sophisticated financial advice while benefiting from full paraplanning and administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic financial planning for individual clients, covering pensions, investments, tax and protection.
• Conduct regular client reviews to ensure plans stay aligned with life goals.
• Use cash‑flow modelling software to illustrate advice impact and future scenarios.
• Collaborate with internal paraplanners and client‑service teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, FCA‑compliant client records.

Required profile

• Level 4 qualified Financial Planner (Chartered or working towards Chartered status).
• Proven success in an IFA, private client or wealth‑management environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, tax and protection.
• Relationship‑first mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a structured yet autonomous setting.
