About the role

Our client in Colchester is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join a growing team. You will provide independent advice across pensions, investments, protection and wealth management while building long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent financial advice covering pensions, investments, protection and wealth management.
• Manage and develop an existing client portfolio and generate new business through referrals, networking and professional relationships.
• Deliver compliant, client‑focused financial planning in line with FCA regulations and company standards.
• Build long‑term client relationships to support business growth.
• Utilise financial planning technology such as Conquest, PlannerPal and Power BI.
• Maintain CPD and regulatory competence.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Independent Financial Adviser.
• Level 4 Diploma (or equivalent) in Financial Planning.
• Strong knowledge of UK financial services, pensions, investments and protection.
• Excellent communication, analytical and relationship management skills.
• Commercially minded with a proven ability to develop business and manage client relationships.
