Financial Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join a fast‑growing, internationally backed insurance business in London. Reporting to senior FP&A leadership, you will provide financial insight and support commercial strategy across a complex, global operation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial and commercial analysis to support business strategy and decision‑making.
• Produce and enhance monthly and quarterly reporting for senior leadership.
• Support the development of KPIs and performance metrics across the business.
• Analyse profitability across business units and identify growth opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives such as compensation, operations, and growth.
• Prepare materials for senior leadership presentations and business reviews.
• Support market analysis, benchmarking, and competitive positioning.
• Assist with strategic projects, including recruitment and potential corporate activity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or corporate finance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights.
• Proactive, inquisitive mindset with a drive to improve processes.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities.
