Financial Auditor – Customer Growth

About the role

We are looking for an experienced financial auditor to join Cortea’s UK go‑to‑market team. You will act as the audit subject‑matter expert, building trusted relationships with auditors, leading methodology discussions and turning pilots into long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the audit expert in demos, pilots and customer conversations, providing credibility to the sales process.
• Serve as the main point of contact for UK customers, deepening relationships, identifying upsell opportunities and guiding methodology discussions.
• Represent Cortea publicly – maintain an active LinkedIn presence, speak at industry events and evangelise AI‑supported auditing.
• Collect and relay customer and market insights to the product team to shape the UK roadmap.
• Travel regularly to the Berlin hub to collaborate closely with founders and go‑to‑market colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of financial audit experience, preferably at a Big 4 or leading mid‑tier firm.
• ACA, ACCA or equivalent chartered accountancy qualification.
• Confident client‑facing communicator comfortable presenting, networking and representing the firm publicly.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment and own commercial targets.
• Strong knowledge of ISA, UK GAAP, IFRS and the Companies Act 2006.
• Native English speaker; right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
