Financial Controller – Finance Leadership Role

About the role

This is a broad finance leadership position within a fast‑growing, investor‑backed organisation. You will own the UK finance function, partner with senior leaders and drive financial performance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, planning and control for the UK operation.
• Provide commercial insight and decision support to senior stakeholders.
• Manage and develop a small finance team.
• Support growth projects, operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls.
• Collaborate closely with group finance and operational leadership teams.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar finance leadership role.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience managing or mentoring finance team members.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach in a fast‑changing environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
