Financial Controller – Hospitality (Temp-to-Perm)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing hospitality business in central London. The position starts on a temporary contract with the genuine prospect of becoming a permanent senior finance leader.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, delivering accurate financial statements on time.
• Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow reports.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide commercial insight and support strategic decisions.
• Maintain and improve financial controls, compliance procedures and finance processes.
• Manage, mentor and develop the finance team.
• Support business growth initiatives, system enhancements and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller within the hospitality sector (restaurants, hotels, bars, catering, etc.).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and solid financial reporting experience.
• Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Available to start at short notice or immediately.
