Financial Controller

About the role

We are partnering with a market‑leading blue‑chip household brand to hire a Financial Controller for their international finance team in South West London. This senior‑level position offers real ownership, exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to influence financial performance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Full ownership of monthly, quarterly and annual financial close for the UK entity/entities.
• Statutory reporting and compliance management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes.
• Act as a finance partner to local and regional business stakeholders.
• Maintain strong internal controls and drive continuous process improvement.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and internal teams.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA).
• Proven financial control experience in a complex or multinational environment.
• Solid knowledge of statutory reporting and compliance requirements.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and commercially minded.
