Financial Controller

About the role

JMF Associates is recruiting an ACCA/CIMA qualified Financial Controller for an established manufacturing business in Mid‑Kent. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the finance function, ensure accurate reporting and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations as a standalone senior finance role
• Prepare management accounts, KPI analysis and monthly reports for the parent company
• Lead all transactional accounting duties and cash‑flow forecasting
• Develop budgets, review and improve finance processes and procedures
• Design and implement best‑practice financial controls
• Act as finance business partner to sales and operational teams

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
• Proven experience in a similar Financial Controller or Finance Manager role
• Experience in manufacturing or a comparable sector is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Ability to lead a team and communicate with non‑finance stakeholders
• Hands‑on, self‑starter with initiative
