Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Financial Controller to join a growing international group. Working in a multi‑currency environment, you will ensure robust financial processes while driving improvements in reporting, controls and overall efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely financial and group reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and the external audit process.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and maintain a strong financial control environment.
• Manage reporting requirements for entities operating across different currencies.
• Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders and international finance teams.
• Lead, support and develop a small finance team.
• Drive improvements across processes, controls, systems and management information.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified; previous Financial Controller experience advantageous.
• Strong reporting and budgeting skills with experience in a large international organisation.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and develop team members.
• Exposure to statutory reporting, audit, multi‑currency environments and European or global businesses.
• Confident Excel user, with HFM experience and ideally some exposure to SAP.
• Proactive, enthusiastic team player comfortable initiating change and taking ownership.
