Financial Controller – Manufacturing Business

About the role

Reed Finance is partnering with a successful manufacturing business to create a new Financial Controller position. The role will support the company’s international growth, reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with senior stakeholders across the UK and overseas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly management reporting and financial analysis.
• Prepare month‑end reporting submissions and performance commentary for corporate finance teams.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to provide financial insight for decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, audit requirements and JSOX standards.
• Manage relationships with internal and external auditors.
• Drive process improvements and enhance reporting consistency.
• Support the development of the wider finance team.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• At least 5 years post‑qualified experience.
• Experience in a multi‑site, international manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in financial reporting, controls and audit.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
