Financial Controller – Part‑time

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our team on a part‑time permanent basis in Redhill. The role involves overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring compliance, and delivering insightful financial reporting to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports on a timely basis.
• Conduct balance‑sheet reconciliations, account analysis and oversee month‑end and year‑end close procedures.
• Forecast cash flow, manage cash‑management activities and maintain banking relationships.
• Develop, implement and monitor internal controls to protect company assets.
• Utilise Xero to maintain records and improve reporting efficiency.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes through variance analysis.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS, SOX) and double‑entry bookkeeping.
• Proven experience producing financial reports, reconciliations and analysis.
• Solid background in accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
