Financial Controller – Part‑time (Redhill)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team on a part‑time permanent basis in Redhill. The role will oversee all accounting operations, ensure compliance, and deliver insightful financial reporting to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processes.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct balance‑sheet reconciliations, account analysis and oversee month‑end and year‑end close procedures.
• Forecast cash flow, manage banking relationships and optimise cash management.
• Develop, implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure policy compliance.
• Utilise Xero accounting software to maintain records and improve reporting efficiency.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to provide financial insights for business planning.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles such as GAAP, IFRS and SOX compliance.
• Proven experience producing financial reports, performing reconciliations and conducting financial analysis.
• Advanced proficiency with Xero accounting software.
• Solid experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions.
• Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
