Financial Controller – PE-backed Business

About the role

We are partnering with an exciting private-equity backed business located near Tottenham Court Road in London. The Financial Controller will lead financial management, reporting and control functions to support the company’s strategic priorities and continuous service improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective financial management information and procedures.
• Prepare statutory accounts and act as the primary point of contact for external audits.
• Analyse data and intelligence to generate meaningful insights for decision‑making.
• Support budget managers by coordinating, developing and delivering financial management training.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Proven experience working in a private‑equity or venture‑capital backed environment.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable financial insight.
• Experience in statutory accounts preparation and audit liaison.
• Excellent communication skills to support and train budget owners.

• Competitive salary of £75,000‑£90,000 per year.
