Financial Crime Business Analyst (Fixed-Term)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional to support Financial Crime change initiatives, business improvement projects and management reporting across EMEA. The role will enhance MI reporting, analyse business processes and deliver data‑driven insights while working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support bank‑wide Financial Crime Middle Office change initiatives, including implementation, stakeholder engagement, training delivery and procedural updates.
• Develop, automate and maintain Management Information (MI) reports for local management, governance committees and senior leadership.
• Analyse current and future‑state business processes, document requirements and drive process improvements.
• Produce and distribute management reports and data‑driven insights to support decision‑making and operational performance.
• Perform data analysis using SQL and advanced Excel techniques to identify trends, monitor performance and support business initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong project‑management and business‑analysis experience, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex changes to stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience supporting business change, transformation or project delivery initiatives within a financial‑services environment.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• SQL – ability to extract, join, aggregate and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel – handling large data sets, creating complex formulas, pivot tables and dashboards.
