Financial Data Analytics Manager

About the role

The Financial Data Analytics Manager will develop and maintain centralised core datasets for Marex’s global trading systems, ensuring they meet enterprise‑level standards for reporting, balance‑sheet substantiation and statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop centralised core datasets for Marex’s trading systems globally, supporting enterprise‑level integration, P&L reporting, balance‑sheet substantiation and statutory reporting.
• Build and maintain tools (e.g., Alteryx workflows) to reconcile datasets to the general ledger, automate finance workloads and enable AI‑driven analysis.
• Partner with enterprise data engineers and analytics teams to validate integrated datasets, act as Finance’s liaison, and document solutions for smooth adoption.
• Design and execute UAT testing, provide training to the Finance team, and later migrate EUC tools onto IT‑owned platforms.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Finance within a regulated environment, with strong knowledge of risk and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional problem‑solving abilities and a control‑focused, detail‑oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated interest in data‑manipulation techniques and highly advanced, up‑to‑date knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
