Financial Institutions Group Associate – Investment Banking

About the role
Join Morgan Stanley's Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in London as an Associate. You will work on a variety of investment banking assignments, including M&A, capital‑markets and business‑development projects, interacting directly with senior decision‑makers.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and assist in the execution of corporate‑finance transactions such as IPOs, M&A and strategic advisory.
- Perform financial analysis, strategic business analysis and detailed industry research.
- Contribute to team discussions, client meetings and provide rapid, accurate market judgments.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations in a clear, compelling manner.
- Mentor analysts, promote team culture and collaborate closely with senior bankers and other groups.
Required profile
- Top‑class Master’s degree (or overseas equivalent) in finance or a related field from a leading university.
- Relevant investment‑banking experience (corporate finance/M&A) or equivalent.
- Familiarity with the FIG sector and landscape.
- Fluency in English and one additional language.
