Financial Modeller/Analyst – Renewable Energy (Hybrid)

About the role
We are looking for an ambitious graduate or junior finance professional to join a not‑for‑profit organisation supporting community‑owned renewable energy projects across the UK. The role is hybrid, offering flexible full‑time or part‑time hours (minimum three days per week).
Key responsibilities
- Extract accounting data from Xero and update financial models.
- Produce quarterly board reports, cash‑flow forecasts and performance analyses.
- Refresh financial forecasts and model assumptions.
- Support project‑finance covenant testing.
- Standardise and enhance financial models across the organisation.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting through automation, API integration and AI.
- Assist with financial modelling for new renewable‑energy and financing projects.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Strong financial‑modelling experience – either as a recent graduate or with 1‑2 years of relevant work.
- Analytical mindset, natural curiosity and a desire to develop a finance career within a small, collaborative team.
