Financial Planner – Wealth Management

About the role

Ortus PSR, a boutique wealth management firm in Kent, is expanding following a recent acquisition. They are creating a new Financial Planner position to support growth and build long‑term client relationships in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop a portfolio of high‑net‑worth and mass‑affluent clients.
• Generate new business using firm‑provided leads, introducer relationships, and self‑generated activity.
• Provide holistic financial planning advice across investments, pensions, protection, and mortgages.
• Conduct high‑quality consultative meetings with clients (1–2 per day).
• Develop relationships with professionals, business owners, and London‑based commuters.
• Collaborate with paraplanning and administrative teams to deliver strong client outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and performance development initiatives.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma qualified (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Financial Advisor, IFA, or Wealth Manager.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business.
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.
• Commercial mindset focused on growth and earnings.
• Motivated, proactive, and open to coaching.
