Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a high‑growth organisation to hire a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will become the analytical engine of the business, supporting senior leadership across multiple UK sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting processes.
• Manage the annual budgeting cycle aligned to strategic objectives.
• Deliver detailed variance analysis, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Produce board‑level financial reports and presentations.
• Develop and maintain financial models and KPI dashboards.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide actionable insights for commercial and operational decisions.
• Support strategic initiatives through scenario analysis and financial modelling.
• Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes and reporting tools.
• Assist the Finance Controller with ad‑hoc strategic and operational projects.

Required profile

• Commercially minded finance professional with experience in FP&A, finance business partnering or management accounting.
• Strong analytical ability and comfort working with large data sets.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience managing or mentoring team members (desirable).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivots, lookups, modelling).
