Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the role

The FP&A Manager will provide strategic financial insights and analysis to support decision‑making across Oxford Metrics. You will own the budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes while partnering with operations, marketing and sales teams to optimise financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, own and manage the annual group budget, rolling forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Prepare detailed variance analysis, identify trends and deliver regular financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to provide scenario analysis, support M&A activities and capital investment decisions.
• Improve financial planning processes, tools and systems to increase efficiency, data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements and internal controls while monitoring financial risks.

Required profile

• Professional accountancy qualification with 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Proven ability to lead financial projects, manage multiple deadlines and influence senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling and forecasting expertise.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and ERP/EPM software.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
